Media and entertainment law
Our activities in the media and entertainment fields are very versatile. We cooperate with Finnish and international enterprises in publishing, the music industry, television production, full-length motion pictures, the games industry, and other media and entertainment sectors. Our experts also have experience in the governance of entertainment companies. Drawing up contracts and participating in contract negotiations, dealing with freedom-of-speech issues, copyright and intellectual property rights as well as other special issues in this sector form a part of our daily work. We have also participated in a number of transactions in the field.
We collaborate closely with many industry-leading companies. We have also successfully handled legal proceedings related to the media and entertainment sectors at Finnish courts, arbitration courts and, for example, at the European Court of Human Rights. Since we are thoroughly familiar with this sector, we can provide assistance in the prevention of problems and in solving any legal issues that have emerged.
