Juridia represented Sony Music Entertainment Finland Oy in a copyright dispute
Juridia successfully represented Sony Music Entertainment Finland Oy in a dispute concerning the infringement of copyright to the characters of children’s band Hevisaurus.
The decision handed down by the Vantaa District Court prohibits the opposing party from infringing upon the copyright to the Hevisaurus characters held by Sony Music Entertainment Finland Oy under threat of a EUR 50,000 fine. The opposing party is also obligated to pay EUR 100,000 as compensation in addition to the legal fees.
