General Information Regarding the Use of the Website

Welcome to the website of Attorneys-at-Law Juridia (hereafter Juridia). You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with these Terms of Use before you use this website (hereafter Website). Using the Website constitutes your agreement to the terms in force at any given time as well as your agreement to comply with these terms. If you are not willing to be bound by the Terms of Use, you are not permitted to use the Website. Agreeing to the Terms of Use constitutes an agreement between you and Juridia as specified in these Terms of Use.

You may only use the Website for informative purposes. You are granted only a limited right to use and view the Website and its contents (hereafter Contents). You may only view the Website and its Contents for personal, non-commercial purposes. Guaranteeing this right to use does not constitute the transfer of ownership in regards to the Content or its copies.

Except as authorized in this agreement, you may not alter, present in public or otherwise publish the Content or use it for commercial purposes. You are required to include in any printouts or copies of the Content all information regarding copyright and any other related rights contained in the said Content. If you wish to distribute the Content to a third party, they must first agree to these Terms of Use. The Content must not be distributed to the said third party if they do not agree to these Terms of Use. You are also required to comply with all additional conditions and limitations specified on the Website.

User Agreement

You agree not to interrupt or attempt to interrupt the operation of the Website in any way. You agree to use the Website in accordance with the Terms of Use and applicable legislation and other provisions at any given time.

You agree not to use the Website for (a) the dissemination of spam or other unauthorized data; (b) portraying yourself as a representative of Juridia; (c) the falsification of headers or the altering of identifiers in any manner that purports to disguise the origin of the content distributed via the Website; (d) any actions that would hinder the ability of others to access the Website; (e) illegal purposes; (f) the publication or dissemination of material that infringes upon the rights of third parties or is derogatory, indecent or otherwise offensive, or wrongfully advertises products or services; or (g) the collection or storage of the personal information of other users. If you are not willing to be bound by these limitations, you are not permitted to use the Website. Juridia reserves the right to invoke all of its legal rights resulting from the violation of this agreement.

You agree that Juridia and its employees, directors and representatives are free from all claims and demands arising from your use of this Website.

User-Generated Content

You may produce content on the Website by producing text for images located on the Website. It is your responsibility to ascertain that the content you produce is not legally or morally reprehensible. You are also responsible for ensuring that you hold the rights to the content you submit for publishing. You must ensure that the content you produce does not insult or slander anyone. The Website may not be used for your own commercial purposes. Juridia reserves the right to partially or completely remove user-generated content as it sees fit.

You agree that Juridia holds the copyright to all user-generated content, including the right to alter and transfer the content. Juridia reserves the right to freely utilise user-generated content as it deems appropriate (e.g. for marketing purposes) without compensation, notice or the inclusion of your name or other information. Juridia reserves all rights to images published on the Website and you shall hold no rights except for the limited right of use as detailed in these Terms of Use.

Data Protection

You may not (a) utilise any hardware or software capable of interrupting the operation of the Website; (b) act in a manner that would cause undue strain on the Website; or (c) interrupt or alter the programming and functions of the Website. The above include uploading e.g. viruses, preset malware or any other content capable of modifying the structure of the Website to the Website.

Intellectual Property Rights

The copyright of the Website and the Content is protected by international copyright laws and treaties. You must abide by all copyright laws worldwide while utilizing the Website and to prevent any unlicensed copying of the Content.

Juridia or its partners reserve all intellectual property rights in connection with the Website (including e.g. copyright, registered and unregistered trademark and design rights, patents, domain names, trade secrets and database rights). Juridia does not grant you any direct or indirect intellectual property rights.

Juridia Website Linking to External Websites

Juridia may include on the Website links to websites maintained by third parties. Clicking on any such link will remove the user from the Website. Juridia does not control or review the contents of third party websites, nor can Juridia be held responsible for the credibility, reliability or data protection of third party websites. It is strongly recommended that you familiarise yourself with the third party website’s Terms of Use and its instructions before utilising the said website. Any utilisation of third party websites will be completely at your own risk.

Changes

Juridia reserves the right to amend and rewrite the Terms of Use at any time as it sees fit. Any amendments will become effective once they have been posted on the Website. Utilising the Website after an amendment to the Terms of Use constitutes an approval of the said amendments.

Juridia reserves the right to amend sections of the Website, fix any errors and omissions, make other changes to the Website and the Content as well as remove sections as well as features of the Website without prior notice at any given time. Juridia also reserves the right to limit the usage of the entire Website or sections thereof without prior notice and liability for damage. Juridia reserves the right to revoke the right to use the Website it has granted for a legitimate reason at any given time.

Limitation of Liability

Juridia endeavours to ensure that the Website will be accessible continuously and without disruption. Juridia shall not be held liable for the uninterrupted, timely or error-free operation of the Website. Effort has been made to provide correct information on the Website, but Juridia shall not be held liable for the correctness of the Content. Juridia does not guarantee that the Content is perfect, nor does it guarantee the reliability of any advice, opinion, statement or other information visible on or provided through the Website. Acting upon and trusting any such opinions, advice, statements or information shall be at your own risk and you are advised to turn to an expert for advice on your particular situation. Juridia does not guarantee the security of the Website. You agree that Juridia cannot guarantee the protection of information sent through the Website. Juridia does not guarantee that the Website or the servers utilised to maintain the Website do not contain viruses or other malware. You acknowledge that Juridia shall not be held responsible for Content or information sent or received by the user nor shall it be held responsible for unsent or lost Content or information.

In no event shall Juridia be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or specific damages (including e.g. damages caused by loss of business, a contract or information or by the interruption of business) attributed to the Website or the utilisation of or inability to utilise its content or the Terms of Use with no regard to whether the damages are based on a contract, the infringement of law, negligence or other grounds even if Juridia had been advised in advance of the possibility of such damages. Juridia is also not liable for any errors, deficiencies or other flaws in or delays of the information on the Website.

In any case, Juridia’s liability is limited to the liability laid out in mandatory legislation at best.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by Finnish law. Both parties agree to settle disputes arising from these Terms of Use primarily by mutual agreement. Disputes that cannot be solved by mutual agreement shall be solved in the District Court of Helsinki in Finland.
